Understanding your story can change what comes next
The relationships and experiences we grow up with can continue to shape us long into adulthood—how we relate to others, how we handle conflict, what we expect of ourselves, and even how comfortable we feel expressing our own needs.
I’m Gary DeLeonardis, a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor who works with adults seeking to better understand these patterns and create healthier ways of moving forward. My work has a particular focus on Adult Children of Alcoholics, family-of-origin concerns, and adults navigating the impact of a loved one’s addiction.
I approach therapy as a collaborative relationship built on authenticity, curiosity, compassion, and respect. Together, we can explore where your patterns began, understand the role they may have served, and help you develop greater freedom in how you want to live and relate today.
